20 Years of InDesign Ecosystem - Quo vadis Publishing?

Participants at the event will be given an overview of the various partnering and automation options available in InDesign, and will be shown the added value of scripts, plug-ins and system integrations. They will also have the opportunity to discuss current and upcoming media production and publishing issues with BRANDGUARDIAN experts.

BRANDGUARDIAN's flagship product, one2edit™, is based on the industry-standard Adobe InDesign® server technology. Unlike most comparable products, however, no file-conversion is required, and changes are made directly to the native InDesign documents.

The advantage of this method is the 100% stability of the output — true WYSIWYG processing. In addition, all InDesign functionality (e.g. anchored objects, inline graphics, text frames linked over several pages, etc.) can be used and maintained. This is particularly advantageous in complex layouts or large documents. Since one2edit™ works without converting the InDesign format, you can also check out the documents from the process at any time and edit them in desktop InDesign. For example, agencies can make changes to the layout and then check the document back into the workflow process. No losses, no risk. one2edit can handle all InDesign formatting options for texts and images. So, if the user needs more design options in a template, you can make them available.
