It’s also possible to allocate tasks across multiple editors, proofreaders and approvers using a workflow. one2edit™ enables you to reflect as many editorial processes as you need in a simple and flexible way. And you can even break down editing units into individual segments as small as just a single letter – while maintaining complete control at all times.

one2edit™ makes it possible to create multiple versions of a document based on the master version, with a unique workflow for each new version. Whether localizing, adapting or translating content, new versions are connected to the master document throughout the entire process. And one2edit™ integrates any changes to the design or content of the master version into all additional versions.

You can decide if a change to the master document should be reflected in an adapted version, or whether you want to consider the new version as an independent document.

The dynamic link between the master document and all other versions gives you the power to begin your translation process before the design has been finalized– or to run the translation and design processes simultaneously. You can also make additional design options available for any users who need them. one2edit™ features all of the InDesign formatting options for text and images. The rules make sure the registered trademark symbol is automatically added to your product names when users enter them into one2edit™ or when product names are entered into one2edit™ via an external data source. Special spellings (upper- and lower-case letters) and formatting (bold, underlined, italics, spacing between letters etc.) can be applied automatically, removing the need for quality control processes.
